Knurled-Shank Structural Advantages

The core feature of GB/T827 name-plate rivet is knurled straight-knurl shank. When inserted into mounting hole, the knurled profile produces interference fit with hole wall, which restrains rivet rotation during hammer-riveting. It avoids the common problem of name-plate twisting and offset. Round dome-head provides large bearing surface, protects nameplate surface from damage. As solid-body rivet, it forms double-head locking after upsetting, delivering stable permanent connection for thin-plate name-label assembly scenarios.

Aluminum name-plate rivets are widely adopted, lightweight and easy-for-riveting, suitable for general indoor & outdoor equipment. Installation Guidance & Notes

Name-plate rivet needs access to both-sides of workpiece. Pre-drilled hole diameter shall match rivet nominal diameter. Insert knurled shank through nameplate and substrate holes, support round-head side, then hammer or press the tail end to upset and form clinch head. Avoid excessive striking to prevent name-plate deformation. It is permanent non-removable fastener. For mass-production projects, perform sample riveting test first to verify hole-fit and appearance effect.
