DIN439 Thin Hex Nuts are professional low-profile hexagonal fasteners, specially designed for limited installation space, auxiliary locking and anti-loosening assembly scenarios. Compared with standard hex nuts, this thin nut features a reduced body height while retaining standard metric thread and regular hexagonal outer size, perfectly solving the installation interference problem of thick standard nuts in narrow gaps. Manufactured to precise industrial dimensional specifications, it boasts accurate thread tolerance, flat end face and uniform stress distribution. Usually used in pairs with standard nuts for double locking, or applied to light-load fastening and limit positioning structures. It is widely recognized and adopted in European mechanical equipment, hydraulic components, instrument casings, automotive parts and precision automation machinery.

Material & Raw-Material Inspection
All raw materials strictly conform to industrial mechanical property requirements. We exclusively adopt premium stainless steel raw materials with pure metallographic structure, excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and salt spray resistance, adapting to humid, coastal and harsh outdoor working environments. Each batch of raw materials undergoes strict incoming inspection, including chemical composition analysis, tensile strength test and surface defect screening. Complete material test reports are retained for batch traceability, effectively ensuring the structural stability and assembly accuracy of finished thin nuts.
Quality Control & Production Flow
The whole production process strictly complies with DIN439 dimensional and mechanical specifications: raw material quality inspection → precision cold heading forming → flat end face finishing → high-precision thread tapping → deburring and rounding → surface anti-rust treatment → dimensional tolerance detection → thread go-no-go gauge inspection → flatness sampling test → finished product packaging. The thin body is formed with precise thickness control to avoid height deviation. The thread tooth shape is complete with accurate pitch, ensuring smooth screwing in and no jamming. The hexagonal flat surface is smooth and uniform, ensuring stable wrench clamping force. All defective products with unqualified size, burrs and poor thread engagement are strictly screened out to guarantee batch consistency.
Installation & Usage Notes
Thin hex nuts are mainly used for auxiliary locking and limit positioning, not recommended for independent heavy-load main fastening. For anti-loosening purposes, it is necessary to cooperate with standard thick nuts for double-layer locking to achieve optimal anti-vibration and anti-loosening effect. During installation, keep the nut end face and fitting surface flat and clean to avoid uneven stress causing thread sliding. Control uniform torque during tightening; excessive torque will easily cause nut deformation and thread damage. Stainless steel thin nuts should avoid dry friction and high-speed locking to prevent thread galling and seizure.
